Meet the Founder -

Amy Winsor

Six years after starting her portrait photography business, Amy felt the desire to better steward her gifting. After months of praying for direction, she and her husband, Trevor, decided to pursue opening a photography studio. When some dear friends offered to make that dream come true, Amy felt a strong and clear vision to utilize that studio to minister to critically-ill children. She describes Ray of Hope Portraits as the intersection of many answered prayers and passions. She cannot wait to see where the Lord takes it.

In essence, we want to bring the gift of HOPE and JOY to those who so desperately need it.

Our desire is to create an opportunity for a critically-ill child and their family to have something to look forward to as well as an incredible experience during the session. The cherry on top is the gallery of images that will follow—memories and pictures to last a lifetime.

This gift will be presented in the form of an extravagant photoshoot, designed specifically for the selected child. We will work closely with the family to know everything we can that will make this day extra special. That might include a crowd clapping them into the studio. Spiderman might make an appearance. Maybe a snow machine will add some magic. The sky is the limit, and we are so ready to roll out the red carpet (quite literally)!
